Pack Introductions & Evaluations

We understand the importance of a harmonious pack. Every new member must successfully complete an Evaluation Day prior to joining our Doggie Daycare or Boarding services. The evaluation lasts a minimum of 6 hours and is crucial for determining how well a new dog adapts to our playgroups and responds to our staff. During this time, your dog will be introduced to fellow canines under careful supervision, allowing us to observe their behavior and ensure compatibility with our pack dynamics.

The evaluation day is scheduled from Monday to Friday, with drop-offs required between 7-10 AM, and comes at a cost of $30, equivalent to our daily daycare rate. If your dog does not pass, this fee is waived. For owners coming from out of town, the same evaluation is required without exceptions. We do not accept references from previous facilities.

Additionally, senior dogs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure they can enjoy their time comfortably and safely.

Doggie Boarding Requirements

  • Must complete a 6-hour evaluation day ($30 fee waived if not passed).
  • Evaluations are Monday-Friday, 7-10am drop-off required.
  • Must be held at least 24 hours prior to attending doggie daycare or a boarding stay.
  • Dogs must be spayed or neutered and at least 1 year old, unless fixed under 1 year.
  • No puppies unspayed or unneutered.
  • Senior dogs are evaluated case by case to ensure comfort.
  • Minimum weight of 20 pounds.
  • Breeds not accepted: German/Dutch Shepherds, Pitbulls and predominantly Pit mixes, Belgian Malinois, Great Pyrenees, Cane Corso, Rottweilers, Akitas, and Doberman Pinschers.
  • Must be non-aggressive towards people and other dogs.
  • No escape artists (no climbing/jumping gates, digging, or fence jumping).
  • Must be kennel trained for evening sleeping arrangements.
  • No excessive barking or humping; such behaviors will fail the evaluation.
  • Current Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella vaccinations required (proof needed).
  • Dogs must be on a flea preventative.
  • Dogs with separation anxiety will not be accepted, as determined during the evaluation.
